With the announcement of a third national Lockdown, businesses across the country will be forced to close once again.
Following the news, the government have announced new grants for the self-employed to help keep businesses in retail, hospitality and leisure afloat until spring.
The grants will be worth up to £9,000 per property while the furlough scheme will also be extended until the end of April. Find out more about the Job Retention Scheme or the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme here.
It seems that much of the financial support available will be in continuation of what was in place for the last lockdown, which we have gone into more detail about here.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak has also announced that there will also be £594 million made available to affected businesses outside of retail, hospitality and leisure. This money will be made available by local authorities.
England’s lockdown is due to be reviewed on the 15th February while Scotland’s will be reviewed at the end of January.
Throughout Lockdown, Insync will be available to both existing and new customers at the usual business hours. We wish you all the best in the coming months as we look forward to a vaccinated, safe UK.
